End is Near
There are a few times in life when a person experiences the energy of death. One of those times is coming up soon—the New Moon of Libra, also known as Rosh Hashanah, and the Kabbalistic New Year.
As the sun sets on September 22, 2025, the Talmud teaches that every person on the planet will experience death. Not exactly what you’d expect from a “holiday,” right?
The beauty of Kabbalah is that it doesn’t look at holidays as mere traditions or commandments—it sees them as windows of energy and consciousness. A wether forecast of what energy is about to come. Rosh Hashanah truly is a new year, but to step into it fully, we must first let go of the old. Just as death is a release of the body to move into the next stage, this time of year asks us to release what no longer serves us so we can step into a brand-new life.
What is death?
Most people fear it, avoid it, or accept it as an inevitable end. Few dare to look beyond it—let alone consider that it could be a choice. Kabbalah teaches that death is not an ending but a doorway: a reset, a step into something beyond.
In the days leading up to this New Moon, we are invited to face ourselves with complete honesty. No one can change us but ourselves. No one will save us. Transformation is our choice.
At the end of life, many people regret not living fully. Here are the five most common regrets of the dying:
“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
“I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.”
“I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.”
“I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.”
“I wish I had let myself be happier.”
Why bring up death right before the New Year? Because there is no new without honoring and letting go of the old. Ask yourself: What have I accomplished this past year? What am I ready to complete and release, so I can step into a new reality?
Kabbalah on Rosh Hashanah
In Kabbalistic terms, what happens is that Malchut (our reality) disconnects from Zeir Anpin (the system that balances energy for us) and instead we get plugged in directly into Binah (Source of infinite energy light and consciousness, think and MDMA trip state)
In simpler words: the gentle, merciful filter that usually lets energy flow into our world gradually is lifted—and a powerful surge of Light enters.
Is that good? Yes and no. Yes, we want more light. But no, if we don’t have the vessel to hold it. Think of lottery winners—85% experience tragedy within two years, and many die. They receive more energy than they can maintain or their vessel is able to hold.
So how do we prepare for this massive download of Light? By expanding our vessel. We do this by releasing judgment and significance around what we desire.
When you make something—like a soulmate, money, or success—the source of your happiness, you unconsciously judge it and shrink your vessel. Instead, the key is to embody the energy of already having it.
A Practical Exercise
Write a long list of everything you desire, minimum 100 GO BIG!
For that list, ask: What energy would I be if this were already here?
Choose and leap into that energy now!
Living in the vibration of your fulfilled dreams creates the vessel that can hold and attract the Light you desire.
