Ground-ing
Ground-ing
If you had asked me a few years ago about the topic I’m about to write about, I probably wouldn’t have been interested.
The topic is someone you’ve known your entire life — someone who has supported you unconditionally in every possible way: from the air you breathe, to the water you drink, to the food you eat, to the places you enjoy.
That someone is Earth.
This incredible, magical planet we inhabit is such a gift, and yet it’s one we so often take for granted. When we realize that our very existence depends on its constant contribution to our bodies and our lives, we can truly feel awe and amazement.
When was the last time you paused to acknowledge how much this blue rock floating through infinite space gives you?
The purpose of this article is simple — to invite you into a different relationship with the planet and with this amazingly conscious entity.
While studying Access Consciousness, I learned that our relationship with the Earth isn’t static — it’s something that can grow, expand, and deeply benefit us. I began to explore it through two simple questions:
“Earth, what can I contribute to you?”
“Earth, what can you contribute to me?”
Consciousness has no bounds. When we ask a question, it ripples through the entire universe.
What amazed me most was noticing that whenever I felt heaviness or unease, and I asked the Earth, “What can I contribute to you?”, I sensed the Earth taking that energy and grounding it. After all, Earth is the ultimate grounding tool we have here.
Noah, Scorpio, and the Power of the Earth
The inspiration for this week’s topic comes from the story of Noah, which we read this week, and from the beginning of the month under the sign of Scorpio.
The story of Noah is well known — a man who receives a prophecy to build an ark and save his family and the animals. Yet beyond the literal story lie infinite secrets. One message that stands out to me is how powerfully it reflects our relationship with the Earth.
The people of Noah’s time had no respect for the planet or for consciousness itself. And notice — this isn’t the tenth or twentieth story in the Torah; it appears right after the story of creation. Clearly, the Creator wanted to make sure we understand this message:
Treat and engage with the Earth in a respectful and honoring way, its much more powerful than us.
And while that can include caring for the environment, it’s even more about our point of views — how we energetically relate to the planet.
Scorpio and Emotional Grounding
Scorpio is a sign with quite the reputation — dramatic, emotional, intense, sometimes revengeful, yet also deeply loyal, fearless, and deeply caring.
This month, the cosmic focus is on emotions and feelings. And if you’ve worked with me, you know one of my favorite perspectives is that emotions are not “the truth” — they’re simply guides helping us cultivate greater consciousness.
And just like water needs Earth to hold and shape it, our emotions need grounding too.
So this week, I invite you to connect — to your body, to the Earth, and to the consciousness that sustains us all.
Wishing you a week and month filled with simplicity, ease, and lightness.
Michael
